Superfami.com is in the process of moving to another hosting service. Interliant can bite my a$$. Hopefully our email problems will go away soon.  I also plan on moving neokobe.net to the new service once things are running smoothly. Hopefully webmail will come back again.

Updated the Saturn Dev page with links and comments from more readers.  If you have sent a comment about it  and don't see it there, that is because either the info could not be verified or the link was dead.

Well folks, this is it.  After three years I'm going to stop selling games. Lots of you have found regular sources in the US or have friends over here so it is not so hard to get these games for you.  For the games that are still hard to find, I just don't have time to find them any more.  It has been a great three years, but I no longer have the time or energy to do this.  I'll eventually update more of the content side but no new games will be added for sale.  Thanks to all of you who have helped keep this going for as long as it did.  All the emails I've received from people who were happy to get a game kept me going for as long as I did.  Y'all are a great bunch and it has really been my pleasure to work with you.

Happy New Year!  Looking back on the Year 2000, all I can say is that I'm rather dissapointed.  Sure we had the release of the PS2, but IMNSHO the PS2 has been a letdown.  The only good thing I can really say about the PS2 is that is seems to have jump started the Japanese DVD market.  We have lots more DVD titles to choose from now that so many people are only using their PS2 systems to watch movies. This last year did not give us any really amazing games.  Not to say that none of them were fun, but nothing blew me away.  Some of you may have some personal favorites from the last year, but nothing really impressed me game wise.

Now that I have my grumbling out of my system, I have to say that there is one game related product from the last year which I am really pleased with.  Long time readers will recall that more than a year ago I was drooling over a Bandai product called the Wonder Borg which was still in very early prototype stages the Fall 1999 TGS. I finally picked one up the other day and I have been having lots of fun with it.  For those of you who don't know, the Wonder Borg is an insect like robot which is programmed by using a dedicated cartridge for the Wonder Swan system. As of version 1.5 of the Wonder Borg, a simplified English manual is inlcuded with the product and the programming interface is completely bi-lingual. You can choose English or Japanese when you start the cart.  Not only is this thing fun to play with, but I feel like I'm learning just a tiny bit about robotics.  If even an idiot like me can come up with interesting programs for the Wonder Borg, image what you can do!  Also a big thumbs up to Bandai for actually seeming to encourage people to hack the hardware.  There is an option connector for other things to be added on which is easily accessable by the user, and the manual even shows you how to open up the gear/motor assembly to repair worn gears yourself.  This thing is well worth the money.  There is also a version which is programmed using a PC, but I dont know anything about it.

This new year's as most in the past, I've gone to visit my family in Aichi-ken in central Japan, about an hour outside of Nagoya.  I've only had a little time for game hunting, but I must say that the pickings are pretty slim.  The Osu area of Nagoya is famous for used games, but I did not see much besides PSX and N64 for sale.  The one shop I found which had older games, everything was priced higher than Akihabara. Any good finds will be added to the lists when I get back to Tokyo next week.
