Unlike most third party controllers this one can only be used with the newer AV Famicom since it has the NES style port and therefore can not be plugged into the expantion port of an older Famicom. Controllers with the expantion port style connector will work with either the original of AV Famicom. The sliders above the A and B buttons controll the turbo function of this controller.
