Celebrity Games Just like America has movie tie in games, so does Japan.  We also have celebrity games.  Just imagine if Howard Stern or some other notable had his own game just because he was famous.  Not for a movie, but just because they were famous.
 
   

This is from "Sanma the great detective" (loose trans- lation).  Not much fun, but Sanma's name helped to sell this one.  I don't know too much about Sanma, except that he is always on TV.

This is from "Takeshi's Feudal Era Hero" (rough trans- lation).  Even though this was called "kuso-ge" it has the distinction of being one of the only Famicom games which used the mic built into controller 1.  This is not really one game, but a collection of mini games.  Yes, this is "Beat" Takeshi, or Kitano Takeshi who is known in the US for his movies.
